Prayer Meeting: 11:15 AM
Having a separate time set aside for a congregation to meet to pray together has been a wise practice of churches for many generations, though modern urban life has made the traditional midweek
prayer meeting very challenging. Since we have not been willing to give up the blessing of praying together, we decided a number of years ago to move the midweek prayer time to a slot on the
Lord's Day when we were already gathered together.
We enjoy this time of prayer in several ways. We pray in response to the worship service just concluded. We bear one another's burdens through sharing prayer requests and needs, and lifting them up together to the Lord. We also give prayer reports on local ministries and on foreign missions and labor in prayer interceding on behalf of these kingdom endeavors.
Nursery is provided during the Prayer Meeting.
